George Donelson Moss has taught history at the University of California, Berkeley, College of the Holy Names, City College of San Francisco, and the University of California, San Diego.�He received his B.A. from UCLA and his�M.A. from UC Berkeley. He is the author of America Since 1900 (Original title: America in the Twentieth Century), Vietnam : An American Ordeal, Vietnam Reader: Sources and Essays, The Rise of Modern America: A History of the American People, 1890-1945 and numerous articles, essays, and reviews.

More indepth than your typical history book.

I bought this book for a college class and kept it becuase of the details and the insight , it gave me about American History. It goes through the whole story , in every detail. People who did live during this part of the country might not know as much as i do now.

My professor doesn't require the use of this book. I found out AFTER I rented it. Only reason for 3 stars... However, it is a fantastic book though. Really helps illustrate history from 1945 to present day.
